Active Vision is a cutting-edge ophthalmological center with over 15 years of continuous service. Dr. Jacobo Najman is the founder and currently serves as head ophthalmologist.
Active Vision has an outstanding track record in the field of LASIK surgery having completed over 27,000 successful operations that have dramatically improved our patients’ lives.
We recently opened up our operating facilities to offer phacoemulsification (cataract) procedures four years ago. In the short period of time since, we have operated on close to 500 eyes, giving our patients enhanced vision and an improved lifestyle.
Dr. Najman has also performed more than 500 cornea transplants, which have been of substantial benefit to his patients.

Dr. Najman earned his surgical degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and completed his ophthalmological residence at the Asociación para Evitar la Ceguera en México. He also served as chief resident at that same institution, where he focused on his cornea subspecialty, external eye diseases and refractive surgery. He then went on to complement his training with an additional year pursuing his cornea subspecialty and refractive surgery at the highly prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA, where he also performed research on refractive surgery while honing his skills and building on his knowledge of the most advanced surgical techniques in that area of specialty.
His primary medical and clinical interests are Laser-Assisted in situ Keratomileusis (LASIK), Refractive Surgery Quality Vision and Cornea Transplants.
